He whakaputanga was never adhered to? While He Whakaputanga aimed to establish a united and regular congress of Māori chiefs, the realities of ongoing intertribal conflicts, lack of organizational support, and the rapidly changing political landscape following the Treaty of Waitangi meant that the rangatira did not consistently meet as intended. While the declaration aimed to unite the Māori chiefs, tribal rivalries and conflicts persisted. The pre-existing intertribal wars (musket wars) had created deep divisions and competition for resources, which continued to influence relationships among the tribes. Not sure why this is never discussed. I find this period in New Zealand Aotearoa’s history fascinating. Truth really needs to be told in full though, and is often cumbersome to audiences.

She, like every other climate activist, are disingenuous and self-serving. Almost everything they say is a parroted lie or at best, exagguration. If they TRULY supported climate action, they'd support Nuclear and they'd ban the highly pollutant Wind Farms for which we bury tens of thousands of tons of fibreglass in landfills.

This is lack of discipline and inability to formulate a plan for the future. Those two skills are a must and start at home. My folks developed from day one. Sure I hated some classes, but I knew it was a very small step to a larger goal. By the time I got to the work world, my sites were always set to positions above me. When I got a promotion, no matter what the job was I reset my sites on taking my new boss’s job. Backing up, if you don’t like your teacher, then study the subject matter better than he or she teaches it. Do better than your teacher! If you don’t like the subject matter, find an angle that fits your personality and study the topic from that angle. In other words make your own life Don’t sit there like a loser waiting.

My friend who is pakeha has a full face moko. The Maori elders approached him and asked if he would accept a moko for all the work he does in the community. It took a few months of meetings with the elders and the tattoo guy. He had to tell them his history so they can design his story into a moko. Strange thing is alot of Maori hate on him because they have not been blessed by the elders for their Mokos
